Andy Schmitt
Vice President, Retail Operations & New Business

In October 2024, Andy Schmitt was promoted to Vice President of Retail Operations and New Business. In this role, he oversees the Ace Field Team—including Territory Representatives, District Managers, Regional Managers, and Divisional Vice Presidents—as well as the New Business and Retail Project Management teams.

Andy joined Ace Hardware in 2010 and has held several leadership positions within the Retail Operations department. His roles have included Director of Retail Operations for the Western Division, Regional Manager for Texas, and Corporate Manager of Retail Operations. In 2017, he was promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ace Retail Holdings.

Before joining Ace Hardware, Andy served as Director of Finance for Factory Card and Party Outlet, a division of Party City. He also held various finance and procurement roles at Allstate Insurance Company.

Andy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Illinois State University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
