Ace Hardware Retailers, Customers and Vendors Help Raise $17.9 Million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
Co-op rallies communities across the country for another record year of fundraising
Ace Hardware, the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world, is pleased to announce the record-breaking fundraising results for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals in 2020. In an unprecedented year, customers, Ace retailers, Ace team members and vendor partners came together to help raise an astounding $17.9 million for CMN Hospitals.
“It is amazing to see the tremendous generosity of our customers and the broader Ace team shine through during an otherwise challenging year,” said Kane Calamari, SVP, Chief Human Resource Officer at Ace Hardware Corporation and President of the Ace Foundation.
Much of the $17.9 million raised for CMN Hospitals was done so pennies at a time. Nearly $11 million of that total was raised by local Ace stores and their customers through in-store programs such as Ace Miracle Bucket Days and change round-up at the point of purchase.
As the Ace Foundation celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2021, we are proud of our long-standing partnership with CMN Hospitals and remain committed to helping local kids and families when they need it most. Since 1991, Ace retailers, customers and vendors have helped raise more than $140 million for CMN Hospitals.
