Ace Hardware earns top retail position in 2017 Temkin Experience Rating
Ace Hardware Corporation, the world’s largest hardware cooperative, is pleased to announce it has earned top marks in the 2017 Temkin Experience Rating. Out of 331 companies evaluated, across 20 industries, Ace Hardware tied for the top position in the retail category. In addition, Ace was ranked No. 8 overall across all industries, including the top spot in the among home improvement retailers.
The Temkin Experience Ratings offer a cross-industry, open standard benchmark of customer experience. Results were generated based on feedback from 10,000 U.S. customers who rated their interactions with the 331 companies, which included 48 national retailers. Experiences were based on three dimensions: success, effort and emotion.

Ace Hardware achieved an overall score of 81%, which Temkin classifies as excellent, with the broader retail industry benchmarking closer to 74%. Ace excelled the most in the “success” and “effort” factors.
