Ace Hardware’s corporate headquarters shines bright with holiday lights

For the first time ever, Ace Hardware has dressed up its global headquarters with Christmas lights for the 2016 holiday season. Based in Oak Brook, Ill., approximately 15 miles west of Chicago, the world’s largest hardware cooperative has adorned its corporate headquarters with a total of 17,904 dazzling light bulbs.

The display features warm white icicle lights spread across the buildings, accented by larger red C9 bulbs draped down the columns.

The white icicle lights are available on acehardware.com and are part of Ace’s private label, award-winning Celebrations brand, recently recognized for its innovative product packaging design.

Because Ace opted to use energy efficient LED bulbs, it estimates the cost to run the display of holiday lights for a full four weeks will be less than $100 in total.
