Ace Hardware named “Corporate Partner of the Year” by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Ace Hardware Corporation, the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world, is pleased to announce that thanks to the efforts of the Ace Hardware Foundation, it has been named the 2016 “Corporate Partner of the Year” by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals).

The “Corporate Partner of the Year” award recognizes an outstanding organization that has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals or Foundations through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives.

As the official charitable division of Ace Hardware Corporation, the Ace Hardware Foundation has raised more than $72 million since 1991 for CMN Hospitals. In 2015 alone, the Ace Foundation raised $7.1 million for the organization.

"We are so honored to have Ace Hardware as one of our oldest partners. For 25 years, they have raised millions to ensure kids in their communities have the best care at their children’s hospital,” said John Lauck, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “Their understanding of the vital needs of children’s hospitals and their commitment to tirelessly helping to meet those needs, is why they were named the 2016 Corporate Partner of the Year.”

“Ace Hardware is pleased to accept the esteemed award of ‘Corporate Partner of the Year’ from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Kane Calamari, President of the Ace Hardware Foundation. “For the past 25 years, Ace Hardware consumers, retail store owners, vendors and team members have come together to give back to local communities through fundraising, we’re honored to be able to raise funds for such a deserving organization.”

Ace Hardware aims to raise $9 million for CMN Hospitals in 2016. For more more information about Ace’s charitable efforts, visit acehardware.com.
